School Site Council

Daves Avenue School is a School Improvement Program school. This state program adds special funding to our school to enhance the curriculum for all children. In order to receive this funding parents and teachers must serve on the School Site Council to approve expenditures and program enhancements. This committee participates in writing the School Improvement Plan, conducting an annual parent survey, evaluation of the school program, and assisting the staff with modifications in the curriculum which improve the program offered to our students. The committee members are elected by the group each represents. The committee will meet at the evening H&SC meetings throughout the year. The meeting is open to the public.
